Lovely place to stay with nice rooms and a great breakfast with fresh fruit each morning Helpful staff always at the desk to answer questions about the hotel or local transport times and directions to find places

The pool at the top is too small for all customers to get the oportunity to use People often left towel to save places and empty drink food packets even tho it states not to Should be supervised by a member of staff so it is kept to the same standard as the rest of the hotel

The hotel is central although it is a 25 minute walk to the museums The majority of staff are helpful

Check in was disappointing We were basically given our room keys and told to park the car It is best to do this first as it is not possible to stop close to the hotel Other guests who were dealt with by a different member of staff seemed to be given more time however I did witness staff explaining the hotel etc and showing maps of the local area whereas for some reason we weren t even told the times for breakfast We had to queue for half an hour for the car park Our rooms were ok We paid for the better room whilst the girls had a classic room The rooms are very small and the most annoying part is that there wasn t anywhere to put your belongings which couldn t be hung in the closet We had a sofa but couldn t use it as the bed was right in front The toilet and shower are frosted glass and right next to each other The floor is quite dangerous when wet I slipped twice The fridge in the room is within the drawers of the desk and is incredibly noisy so we kept it turned off Regrettably it was not replenished either We ate in the hotel once in the evening the food was very good and the staff were lovely Breakfast is a but of a free for all I was not offered a hot drink on any of the three mornings Overall this is an ok hotel at best The corridors were quite worn and it certainly wasn t the cleanest hotel we have stayed in It s really a glorified express hotel We had also requested quiet rooms but were woken every morning at 5 45 by noise from the alley way downstairs

Staff we so nice and helpful bar area was lovely and the rooms So helpful having a map of the city on the room walls Right in the middle of everything and about a 5 10 minute walk from train station Would highly recommend

We were traveling with our 2 kids 10 and 12 and booked the room with 2 full bathrooms It was perfect The bathrooms are large by hotel standards and the hotel was recently renovated so everything still was relatively new The price reflects the slightly off the beaten path location but you can reach great places in a 10 15 minute walk Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends

From the moment we arrived and greeted by the bell boy who immediately took our cases into reception we felt this was a nice place to stay pleasant and helpful reception staff had us registered and in our room quickly The breakfast was a great choice of food pleasantly and efficiently served My request for help in checking a transfer with Emirates was handled with courtesy and efficiency and followed up by an email left in our room confirming all the details The room though small provided adequate space for a 2 night stay

Stairs up to main Lobby are difficult to navigate with cases if there is no assistance The room was a little pokey but sufficient for our purpose A sign at the railway station would be helpful for those arriving by train as to the direction of the hotel
