The room power cut out if the key was not placed in correctly or became unbalanced

The staff were excellent especially the house manager Daisy The location was ideal close to Liverpool Street Station and an ideal base for sightseeing as it is only a short walk to the Thames and London Bridge Tower of London and other fabulous sights

The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well The lighting was very high tech You could control all the lights from the bed which was nice The shower was very good with a nice big shower head and good water pressure The bathroom was spacious and clean The location was central and there was easy access to transportation

The t v was unnecessarily complicated and when we asked for someone to come up and show us how it worked no one came We did not eat breakfast at the hotel very expensive but we did get coffee in the morning It was good but overpriced 2 coffees were around 10 00 Canadian The hotel has a gym but it is very small with very little floor space to move Once you have 6 people in there it s packed While we were there the AC was not working so only the machines were available the first day and although it was completely open the next day the AC had still not been repaired We only lasted about 20 minutes before we got too hot The staff was friendly but not particularly helpful For example we asked the concierge to look into getting Wimbledon tickets for us He said he would call us the next morning and he never did We also asked the housekeeping staff for a lighter blanket for the bed and got no response

Fantastic hotel incredibly attentive staff who decorated our room with rose petals for our anniversary Would definitely stay here again

Beautiful interior and design They went the extra mile for my birthday and made it a memorable occasion

The underfloor heating didn t work for us

Super lovely room as we got a free room upgrade with an amazing view Bed was super comfy and pillows were great The room was large and the bathroom was wonderful Loved the view from the rooftop terrace and the spa Staff were super friendly and helpful Would recommend and love to return

Downstairs bar was lovely but a little pricey for dinner for what we ate

The location was good especially for anyone flying in via Stansted airport or anyone travelling via Liverpool Street The bed was very comfy I especially loved that they provided a cellphone with unlimited data local calls and etc As to the hotel it is very new so that might be why but I found the staff though friendly and helpful to be quite inexperienced and slightly awkward at times

If you booked through their website you are able to choose the pillow type and room scent but they didn t reply to my request sent via Booking Aside from that the pillows were not the most comfortable I also expected more from the interior design Not that there s anything wrong with it but it s not as stylish or elegant as I had expected
