Royal Hotel

Overlooking the beach and within easy walking distance of the town centre and pier, this AA 4-star character property has been welcoming guests to Eastbourne for over 170 years.

One of Eastbournes original old sea houses, the dog-friendly Royal has recently undergone a complete renovation to provide comfortable, modern accommodation with free Wi-Fi throughout and flat-screen TVs. The buildings original features have been retained. Bathrooms feature heated towel rails, shaver points, fluffy white towels and complimentary Duck Island toiletries.

Start each day with a healthy, fresh breakfast in the airy breakfast room. Choose from real ground coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a selection of organic yoghurts, cereals, homemade breads and jams. No English breakfasts are served. Soya milk is available. Please inform Royal Hotel (Adults Only) in advance of your expected arrival time. Please be advised that there is a GBP 50.00 charge for arrivals after 20:00 without prior arrangement. Arrivals after 21:30 is not possible.

Discounted parking is available nearby, but you must obtain a voucher from the hotel.

The hotels rooms are spread over 3 floors and no lift is available.

Dogs are welcome at The Royal and stay free of charge. Access is limited to one dog per room, possibly two. Please contact the property in advance if you have more than two dogs.
