Hotel Alpenblick Mrren

The Alpenblick hotel is a typical, quiet and small Swiss Chalet hotel in Mrren, offering superb views of the Eiger, Mnch and Jungfrau mountains.

It is situated a 2-minute walk from the BLM railway station and is thus a great base for exciting excursions, for example to the Jungfraujoch, which is a UNESCO World Heritage area. The Sports Centre and the centre of Mrren are only a 8-minute walk away.

Enjoy fine local cuisine la carte, including the speciality of the Alpenblick hotel, Gggeli im Chrbli (half of a crispy fried Swiss chicken served in a basket with a spicy home-made barbecue sauce). Breakfast including Swiss specialties is served in the morning.

Some rooms feature a balcony, while all come with a private bathroom with shower or bath and hairdryer, flat-screen cable TV and a safety deposit box. Superior rooms are situated on the front side and boast views of the famous mountains, the quiet standard rooms are situated on the backside. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the hotel.

Guests of the Alpenblick hotel, have free access to the indoor swimming pool at the Mrren Sports Centre (in winter also to the ice rink) and enjoy discounts for the sauna, the steam bath and the fitness facilities. A damage deposit of CHF 300 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed on check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that Mrren is a car-free town and can only be reached by train or cable car from Lauterbrunnen.
