The B&B welcomes its guests in an old "Palmento" of 1703: this room since then was used for crushing and pressing the grapes harvested in the neighboring vineyards. It has remained intact in structure and operation, so that still in the autumn in it there is the "Harvest Festival."
Nothing in our B&B is left to chance. Our intent is to slow down time and to enjoy the warmth and color of things made with care and love by following the breath of the seasons. Our rooms are renovated in respect of materials and traditions of Etna, with floors in Sicilian handmade and ceilings with wooden beams. They are furnished in rustic, while the bathrooms are tastefully furnished with Caltagirone ceramics or the ceramics of the Master Barbaro Messina (Le Nid) made a few kilometers from the B&B and famous all over the world.
In winter breakfast it is served in the millstone century, renovated with recycled preserving the lava-stone floors and vats perfectly preserved. In summer and when the temperature allows, you can enjoy breakfast on the adjacent terrace overlooking the countryside Etna and the Gulf of Catania.
But the changing of the seasons not only be seen from the place where breakfast is served, but also by the details that enrich the tables set with unique ceramics Wald, whose collections change colors and decorations with cangiare seasons.
