The property belonged to my great grandparents, I took on the task of remodelling the main home and the small guesthouse. It is a clash of modern and rustic design with open concept post and beam layout. A cottage-feel retreat with a wood stove. Offering free bikes, Over The Way Cottage is located in Mahone Bay. Free WiFi access is available in this property.
This cottage has a full kitchen with a microwave and an oven. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one full bathroom on the main floor that comes with a hair dryer, towels and bath products.

This accommodation is 76 km from Halifax Stanfield International Airport. Please inform Over The Way Cottage in advance of your expected arrival time. PLEASE NOTE, the stairs to the second level are quite steep and not suitable for mobility restricted guests. There is an office on the first floor that could accommodate a bed if requested. If you need the extra bed on the first floor, please inform the property prior to arrival.

Guests will be charged for any permanent stains to towels and linens ($12 for large bath towels and $8 for face cloths and hand towels). To help avoid damage, grey towels have been supplied in the bathroom for wiping up spills, wiping off shoes and drying off pets. Facial wipes are also provided for the removal of makeup.
