Most of the bedrooms have views of the garden and valley and face west or south-west to take full advantage of sunny afternoons. Immersed within over 2 acres of private gardens and woodlands, this country house hotel boasts a tranquil setting on the steep slopes of the magnificently wooded Heddon Valley.
Heddons Gate Hotel boasts a relaxed and friendly atmosphere within comfortable and peaceful surroundings, complemented by superb views of the valley. All en-suite bedrooms are individually designed.
Originally built as a hunting lodge in the 1890s, Heddons Gate has been sympathetically extended over the decades. Disabled Access: Whilst the owners are keen to assist guests who have any kind of disability, Heddons Gate may not be suitable if you have limited mobility, because there are no ground-floor rooms.
Mobile Phones: You will not be able to get a mobile phone signal at Heddons. A signal can be picked up within a short walk or drive from the hotel (all bedrooms have direct-dial telephones).
