3100 Kulmhotel, located in Gornergrat, is the highest hotel in the Swiss Alps and the mountain base camp of a high mountain range. It offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi.
All of the rooms feature a cable TV with international channels, a work desk and a hair dryer and offer mountain views.
The Vis--vis Restaurant serves Swiss cuisine whilst the Panorama self-service restaurant offers a range of international hot and cold dishes including home-made cakes and sandwiches.
Gornergrat offers a variety of snow sports including skiing with ski-to-door access, snow boarding and hiking. The hotel also offers a packed lunch service for all guests.
This secluded hotel features its own planetarium, a library and a shopping centre and offers stunning views of 29 four-thousend-metre peaks of the Alps.
The viewing platform of Gornergrat and the areas around the hotel are only reachable by a regular train service, which takes 40 minutes through scenic countryside, from car-free Zermatt. Please note that Zermatt is car-free. Guests can only drive as far as Tsch and then reach Zermatt by train. The station of the Gornergrat Mountain Railway is right next to the train station.
Please note that the hotel can only be reached by railway. The last train leaves Zermatt at 18:00 (there is a later train in high season - please consult timetables).
