Within a 10-minute drive of the apartments there are several restaurants which specialise in German and Italian cuisine. Interesting museums in Brnau include the Button Museum and the Brnau-Tachov History Park.
Der Birkholmhof is a 20-minute drive from the A93 motorway, and it is 8 km to the border with the Czech Republic. Free private parking is available on site at the apartments.
