El Refugio Cloud Forest Lodget Retreat is a 1.5-hour bus ride from Otavalo, past Cuicocha Lake. Common areas include fully equipped kitchens and living room areas with rugs and comfortable sofas.

When you come to a yellow church set in a schoolyard, you have reached Santa Rosa. Take the road to the left of the school and drive less than 1 km to El Refugio, on the right side.
