The hotel, located on Craven Hill Gardens, is a short walk from Paddington station which connects with the Heathrow Express. Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations are also close by as well as bus transport from either Paddington or just north of Hyde Park. Guests can reach the city centre in around 2.5 km. Many airports are nearby, the closest being London City Airport, which is roughly 20 km from the hotel, and London Heathrow Airport, which is approximately 25 km away.

Superior rooms offer individually designed bedrooms with a minimalist and Japanese feel. All rooms have plenty of natural daylight and the major colour schemes are black and white or beige and white. Decor is minimal but luxurious, with mostly soft furniture using natural fabrics. The layout of each room is unique but always allows for privacy and comfort. Deluxe bedrooms are slightly larger than the superior ones. The decor and design is the same minimalist Japanese feel throughout. Some Deluxe bedrooms do have king-size beds in them and a little seating area within the bedroom as an added feature. Some of the rooms face the Zen Garden, others face the neighbouring buildings. The Deluxe bedrooms can also accommodate an extra bed for a child up to the age of 13 years on a daily supplement.

A continental breakfast is served and lunch and dinner can be taken la carte.
