The rooms include a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The en-suite bath or shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Some rooms are situated in a separate building, next door to the main hotel. Wifi is available throughout the property.

The Hotel is easily accessed by public transport, with a bus stop on the doorstep and Tynemouth light rail station is just 10 minutes walk away. The property is 13 km from Newcastle and 30 km from Newcastle Airport. North Shields International ferry terminal is 5 km away. Please note: For on-street parking on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays, you must display a parking permit in your vehicle. Hotel residents should collect their complimentary parking permits from the hotel reception. Each day requires a parking permit.
