Transfer from Mount Hotham Airport to Snug As A Bug Motel

Historic buildings Main Building built in 1879, it survived 2 major bush fires one in 1939 and 2003 were we put the fire out at our side boundry fence, renovated from 1990 and and first reoccupied for guest accommodation in 1995, this building was a temperance boarding house and only had 1 bathroom for the whole building, during our renovations we realised that guests require more bathrooms, so we endeavoured our best to supply each room with an ensuite, so some had to be inserted into the corridors not giving much space in the bathrooms but giving every unit its own toilet and shower and a small handbasin, in later years (2001) we moved a homestead to the rear of our property and turned this into 4 motel units again not wanting to make the rooms smaller we placed the bathrooms in the corridor, this homestead was moved about 20 kilometers away and was built in 1906, these renovations were completed the end of 2002 just prior to the bush fires in January 2003. All 4 unites provide you with a TV, a refrigerator, a toaster and an electric kettle. The private bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and shower and toilet. The motel also offers guest rooms in the main building, built in 1879. These rooms offer access to a shared kitchen and a lounge room.

Snug As A Bug is a 3-minute walk from Livingstone natural pool the perfect place for a refreshing afternoon swim. The Omeo District Hospital is a 10-minute walk.
