Transfer from Musiara Airstrip to Mara Explorer Tented Camp

Mara Explorer is situated in the centre of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Its Talek River-facing tents are situated on raised, wooden platforms. Each has a Victorian, claw-foot tub.

The spacious tents at Mara come with an elegant dcor with hand-carved mahogany furniture and antique wardrobes. Each has a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a double vanity and an indoor shower. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are also available.

Three meals a day, soft drinks, house wines and local beers are provided to guests. Bush breakfasts and bush dinners are also available on request.

Guests can spot many animals from the camp or join one of the certified guides on an open-vehicle safari. Guests of Mara Explorer Tented Camp may make use of the facilities at sister cam Samburu. Please note a mandatory Conservation Fee of USD 70.00 per person per day applies to all guests upon entry. The fee is payable to Maasai Mara National Game Reserve.
