The family-run hotel in Timmerdorfer Strand is situated a 2-minute walk from the beach. Strandhotel Fontana offers a luxury spa and sauna area, a spacious lobby with fireplace and a restaurant with large terrace overlooking the Bay of Lbeck.

The elegant rooms and suites at the Strandhotel Fontana feature warm colours, custom-made furniture and original oil paintings. Some rooms are in the new extension and offer breathtaking Baltic Sea views.

The restaurant Horizon offers a clear and elegant design. It serves a sumptuous breakfast as well as a range of Nordic cuisine with Asian influences.

Guests are also welcome to relax in the hotel garden with its cascading water features. Please inform Strandhotel Fontana in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Guests are asked to inform Strandhotel Fontana of their expected arrival time at least 2 days in advance.

Please contact hotel directly if extra beds are needed, not all rooms offer space for an extra bed or cot. Guests are welcome to bring their own cot after consultation.

Restaurant HORIZONT is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Monday & Tuesday are rest days.

From November to mid-December closed on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays and open from Thursday - Sunday.

From 01/22/2023 to 02/04/2024 the horizon will remain closed.
