Transfer from Izumo Enmusubi Airport to Ohashikan

Ohashikan is located the heart of Matsue. With Matsue castle and sight seeing areas mostly with-in walking distance. Ohashikan over looks a beautiful view of Lake Shinji and Ohashi River. Ohashikan has the history of being the oldest running Ryokan in Matsue. Also known for the place where the famous Irish writer Lafcadio Hearn lived when he first moved to Matsue. At Ohashikan we serve traditional style foods with the menu changing with the seasons. With our natural hot spring known to be good for the muscle relaxation, blood flow and overall body ache healing. We also have a restaurant on the 2nd floor called "Shosuitei" serving traditional foods and local cuisines. Our menu can be arranged to suit your needs. (eg.vegetarian, no fish, fish only) And also Free-Wifi throughtout hotel. Ohashikan is a 5-minute drive from JR Matsue Station and a 15-minute walk from Matsue-jo Castle. It offers Japanese-style accommodation with 2 indoor baths, free parking and free Wi-Fi access.

Featuring partial views of Lake Shinji, guest rooms have traditional tatami (woven straw) mat flooring. Each room is equipped with a fridge, an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV.

Female guests will be given a Yukata (Japanese bathrobe) during their stay at Ohashikan. Massage services can be arranged upon request.

The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and traditional Japanese kaiseki dinner.

Ohashikan is a 6-minute drive from the Former Yakumo Koizumi Residence. Please note that guests with a tattoo may not be permitted to enter public bathing areas and other public facilities.
