Vai Moana, translated as Blue Sea in Rapa Nui, is a tropical-themed hotel on Easter Island, 5-minutes walk from Hanga Roa. It offers private bungalows, island adventure excursions and cave exploration.

The restaurant serves local Polynesian cuisine such as Umi Pae, cooked in a traditional earth oven, and guests can enjoy a tropical cocktail at the rustic bar. A daily breakfast buffet is served.

Activities can be arranged at the property, including movie screening of Rapa Nui history, preparation and tasting of Curanto, and spa facilities.

Hotel Vai Moana is a 5-minute drive from the Tahai ceremonial archeological site, and 4-blocks from the beach. Tours and horseback riding activities can be booked on site. An airport shuttle and car rental service is available. A security deposit of USD 300 is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
