This restored 12th century monastery is surrounded by the green hills of Maremmana in Tuscany. It offers an outdoor pool, and rustic apartments with satellite TV and a washing machine. Follonica is a 25-minute drive away.

Terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings and antique local furniture characterise all apartments at Il Convento di Monte Pozzali. Each is equipped with a kitchenette and dishwasher. Some have original fireplaces.

Bikes are a great way to explore the area, and can be hired at reception. Guests can relax on the sun terrace by the pool, or book a massage.

Ferries to Sardinia and the Island of Elba leave from Piombino, 50 km away. It is a 30-minute drive to Grosseto, and parking is free. Towels and bed linen are changed once a week. Daily change of bed linen/towels and daily cleaning are available upon request, at extra charge.
