Situated at an altitude of 1,585 metres above sea level in Arefu, close to the Transfagarasan, Romanias most dramatic paved road, Cabana Capra offers comfortable accommodation in idyllic surroundings.
All rooms feature a balcony with views over the forest and the mountains. Each unit is equipped with satellite TV, and comprises an en-suite bathroom.
Authentic Romanian game dishes are served at the restaurant of Cabana Capra. There is a childrens playground on site.
It is possible to go hiking on the trails of Mount Ghitu, or enjoy winter sports like climbing, skiing or sleighing. Please note the road is accessible in winter from the Southern part of Trasfagarasan Road.
