Set in South Mission Beach in the Queensland region, this property backs on to the Cassowary conservation area and includes free WiFi throughout, an award winning swimming pool with a slide and waterfall and a TV/games room.

The staff at BIG4 Beachcomber Coconut Holiday Park can provide practical and local advice of things to do and see and the property can provide a complimentary tour booking service.The endangered Southern Cassowary bird is a regular visitor to the park, allowing guests to take a close look at this beautiful creature.

Accommodation is available for all budgets, some of them on the beach front and many with views of the beach. Ranging from unpowered camping accommodation to 2-bedroom spa villas, the entire park is nestled into the tropical award winning gardens.

Guests can enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurant or visit the kiosk which are both open every day at the property. You can play tennis at the property, and the area is popular for horse riding. A range of activities are offered in the area, such as snorkelling, diving and fishing.

The property is located a 2 hour drive south of Cairns and a 3 hour drive north of Townsville. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in.
