Some of the unique characteristics of the property include a private beach club on the Gulf of Mexico, 22 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, five restaurants and bars, a state of the art business centre, and above all friendly and professional staff who provide outstanding service. Complimentary morning coffee and tea are offered in Maisie's Ice Cream Parlor. The air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 245 rooms spread over 4 floors. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer with a reception desk manned around the clock, lift access, a safe, a hairdresser, a bar, a games room, a public Internet connection, room and laundry services (charges apply), and parking for those arriving by car.

The classically appointed rooms all come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, cable TV, a clock radio, a high-speed Internet connection, an iron and ironing board, and Aveda products. In addition, a double or king-size bed and individually adjustable heating and air conditioning are also provided in all accommodation units as standard.
