Destination: Ein Harod Ichud Country Lodging
Set in the Harod Valley near Mount Gilboa, this peaceful kibbutz includes an olympic outdoor pool, stables, and a dairy farm. Guest rooms come with free WiFi throughout.
Home to one of the first art museums in Israel, Ein Harod Ichud Kibbutz Country Lodging also houses the Beit Shturman archaeological centre.
All air-conditioned rooms provide satellite TV, a fridge and a microwave. Each room offers valley views and is surrounded by green lawns.
Breakfast at Ein Harod is a buffet, and includes cheeses, fresh vegetables and eggs. The kibbutz coffee shop serves light refreshments through the day.
Guests can visit the horses and see how cows and sheep are milked. The kibbutz has a playground for children, and a hilltop barbecue site offering panoramic views of northern Israel. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.
Check-in on Saturday and the end of Jewish holidays is 2 hours after sunset. Check-out is at 14:00. Check-in on Fridays is from 13:30 until 17:00. When booking more than 4 rooms, different policies and additional supplements may apply. Group bookings of more than 5 rooms are not possible. The property will provide complimentary access for guests who stay between Nov 1 2022 and Jan 31 2023 to a heated pool in "Nir David".
