Destination: The Moorcock Inn
On the A684 between Hawes and Sedbergh, The Moorcock Inn provides well-appointed rooms and home-cooked food in the Yorkshire Dales. This inn offers free parking and full English breakfasts.
Each guest room has a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee facilities. All have an en suite bathroom with shower and/or bath, hairdryer and toiletries.
Full English breakfast is served each morning, along with fruit, yoghurt, cereals and toast. The pub serves a wide-ranging menu including traditional British pies and hotpot, burgers, steaks and tapas platters to share.
The Moorcock Inn is around 5 miles from the village of Hawes, which is home to the Dales Countryside Museum and the Wensleydale Creamery. The Cumbrian town of Sedbergh is 10 miles west, where the restored Farfield Mill offers arts and heritage exhibitions and an on-site caf.
