Transfer from RNAS Windermere to Broadlands Guest House

Broadlands Windermere Award Winning Guest House, is in the heart of the English Lake District, now a World Heritage Site.

Broadlands is a traditional stone built Victorian house built circa 1885 and is located on a quiet road 2 minutes from the centre of Windermere Village and a pleasant 20 minute walk to the village of Bowness on Windermere and the Lake.

Rooms feature crisp white cotton sheets and luxurious bedding, and an en suite bathroom with towels and free toiletries. Each room also benefits from free WiFi, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.

Broadlands Windermere has previously been awarded 3 AA Gold Stars.

The house has lovely views overlooking Ellethwaite Park. The local open-topped bus can be caught from the top of the road and the train and bus station is less a 10 minute walk away.

There is free parking available on Broad Street and a public car park directly across the road. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please inform Broadlands Windermere in advance of your expected arrival time. Please note that there is free on-street parking spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A public car park is directly opposite the property.

Kindly note that the guest is liable for any damages made to the property by themselves during their stay, and will be charged for damages if necessary.

Please note guests found to have smoked on the premises will be charged a GBP 50 fee. Full payment will be taken 14 days prior to arrival date. The property cannot accept American Express.
