The Kammloipe cross-country ski trail, the Kammweg hiking trail and the European long-distance hiking trail E3 start directly at the property. Hotel Zum Kranichsee also features a sauna area, traditional restaurant and free WiFi in the whole building.
Comfortable rooms with classic-style interiors and rich carpets are offered by Hotel zum Kranichsee. All rooms are equipped with a TV, private bathroom and scenic mountain views. Some rooms are located in the Wiesenhaus building, 50 metres from the hotel, offering a view of the surrounding landscape.
Hotel guests enjoy a hearty breakfast each morning and apartment guests can prepare meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Meals typical of the Saxon region are served in the Restaurant every day during the winter season. Outside of the winter season, Friday to Tuesday.
Carlsfeld ski lift is just a 10-minute drive from Zum Kranichsee, and on-site ski storage is available.
A 20-minute car journey will take guests to the Czech Republic and free private parking is available at the hotel.
