Edinburgh Thistle Guest House is a friendly and welcoming Guest House ran by our Manager Markees and owner Ruksana. Based in a Victorian House full of period features with a contemporary interior and overlooking the Leith Links Park. The Links was one of the oldest golf courses in the world. We have a range of 9 rooms suitable for single travelors to large families In an elegant Victorian terrace, Edinburgh Thistle Guest House offers free Wi-Fi, continental breakfasts and views over Claremont Park. The charming property is a 10-minute drive from Edinburgh centre.

The individually decorated bedrooms each have a flat-screen plasma TV and tea/coffee facilities. Most rooms have a private modern bathroom, and all feature a radio and ironing facilities.

Situated in the Leith district, Edinburgh Thistle House is a 20-minute walk from the Leith Docks. Free parking is available nearby, and Edinburghs historic centre and The Royal Mile are just 2 miles away. Check-in is between 13:30 and 16:30. Please specify your arrival time when booking. Guests arriving after 16:30 must email the property 48 hours in advance of arrival and request express check-in code. Express check-in after 20:00 is at a small extra cost.

If guests do not arrive by 16:30 and fail to email the property in advance, entry may be refused.

Please note that cots are provided subject to availability and space in the room and must be pre-booked in advance. Bedding for cots is subject to a charge, however guests may provide their own bedding for cots to incur no extra charge.

Extra guests that arrive, whom have not pre-booked and occupy room with main guest will be charged a daily rate of GBP15 per person per night during off peak and GBP 35 per person per night during peak times.
