The Gasser Pension is located in the centre of Aschau, and in good snow conditions it offers cross-country ski trail 150 metres from the house and a ski slope ending 100 metres away. There are shops and restaurants within a 5-minute reach on foot, and an outdoor pool is a 10-minute walk away.

The Aschau train station on the Zillertalbahn railway is 130 metres from the Gassers. For the guests arriving by car, free private parking is available on site.
