The idyllically located Wasenalp is 2 km above the Simplon Pass Road, which is also safe to travel in winter, and is far away from the hustle and bustle.

In summer it is located in the Simplon Pass hiking area, and in winter it is right next to the slopes of the small Rothwald/Wasenalp ski area. This mountain inn is the ideal base for all winter activities, including snowshoe hiking, ski touring and deep snow skiing.
