Transfer from Millau-Larzac Airfield to La Maison Tranquille

Our "Houses" are situated on the main road through the Gorge, which is the only road following the river. We have river and mountain views on offer in one of the most beautiful areas of France. A private garden away from the road and a private terrace overlooking the river for evening meals and lunches, and when it is not too hot, for breakfast too. The "annex" across the road has 2 new larger bedrooms and a small terrace overlooking the road and the river, with views up the Tarn, but with all the facilities "en face" at your disposal. We have our own Bistro, where we cook food from the region, using the best available products, but also from all over the world with menus that you may never have tried but will enjoy. From Bio Farcous, homemade tarts and deserts, Lamb from the Causses, to curry from India, Italian roasted salmon recipes, Fish n Chips using beer batter, using salads that are more than just a plate of greenery and our rice is a Mediterranean flavoured delight.

This is our house; you are welcome to treat it is your own whenever you like. Situated in the Gorge du Tarn 50 metres from the river and at the gates of the Cevennes National Park,this unique B&B offers en suite rooms with a quiet garden and superb views.

Continental breakfasts and international dishes are part of the family atmosphere created in Maison Tranquille and the Little Chicken Restaurant.

There are family rooms available for those with younger children and all rooms have private shower and toilet.

Internet access is free and there is a small TV room lounge available for guests of La Maison Tranquille.

Throughout the Gorges and Cevennes you can find Fishing (excellent trout waters), canoeing, paragliding, horse riding, climbing, mountain biking and even bungee jumping.

The A75 is just 25 km away and Rodez Airport is less than 1 hour by car. Please inform La Maison Tranquille in advance of your expected arrival time.
