Being a freehold property totally surrounded by a coastal park in an unspoilt coastal environment makes the location of this property truly unique. It offers a haven from the daily pressures of modern society and complete peace and privacy. Enjoy stunning panoramic cape-to-cape views of Bridgewater Bay and whale-watching in season (June - October) from the deck or the comfort of the lounge room. An almost uninhabited beach 2 minutes walk from the house is a great place for a walk or to fossick for shells. The cliff-top and beach sections of the Great South West Walk pass by the front door and are right up there with the very best in the world! The house has recently been fully renovated and contains all modern facilities. Shelly Beach Retreat is a holiday home set in Cape Bridgewater, 15 km from Portland. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site.
The kitchen features a dishwasher, an oven and a microwave, as well as a kettle. A flat-screen TV and DVD player, as well as an iPod docking station are provided. There is a private bathroom with shower.
The area is popular for fishing and hiking. The nearest airport is Mount Gambier Airport, 89 km from Shelly Beach Retreat. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of AUD 200 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by bank transfer. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via bank transfer, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that firewood is provided free of charge from April 1st to Nov 30th only.
