The hotel is 3.2 km south of Scourie on the North West coast of Scotland. Standing in its own grounds that run down to the shore, the hotel is magnificently situated at the head of Badcall Bay. Ullapool is 60 km away and Inverness is around a 2-hour drive.
The charm and character of this 200-year-old building has been retained, with stone walls and flagstone floors in the dining rooms. The hotel has been awarded by the Scottish Tourist Board and is recommended in The Michelin Guide, Good Hotel Guide and Scotland the Best. Built in 1750, this charming country house offers 11 guest rooms. Facilities include a lobby with hotel safe and cloakroom, a bar and restaurant, Internet access and a laundry service. Those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park.
