Welcome to Lismar House. This beautiful period building was built in 1903 on one of Dundalks most impressive terraces. Enjoy the plush surroundings of our historic home in which we have retained many of the buildings old world charm and features. Once a home to the visiting hierarchy in the British Army, Lismar was lovingly restored as a guest house in 2006. Enjoy modern, comfortable surroundings, excellent facilities and a warm welcome. Set in the heart of Dundalk, Lismar Guest House has retained many original Victorian features such as a glass domed ceiling and decorative fireplace. If has free Wi-Fi and free parking.

The rooms are spacious, stylish and contemporary while gracefully furnished. They have a large bathroom with power shower, a desk and chair, crisp linen, free Wi-Fi, a TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

In the morning, a full Irish breakfast is cooked to order. The ingredients are locally sourced wherever possible.

The guest house is only a 2-minute walk from restaurants, pubs, shops and Marshes shopping centre. The area is also ideal for pony trekking and hill walking. In accordance with government guidelines to minimise transmission of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property can only accept bookings from essential workers/permitted travellers, during dates where such guidelines exist. Reasonable evidence must be provided on arrival. If it isnt provided, your booking will be cancelled on arrival. Check-in is available until 22.00.
