Transfer from Easterton Glider Field to The New Inn

Welcome to The New Inn, a historic watering hole located within the centre of Aberchirder, an 18th century planned village set with the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside. We are at the heart of village life for local residents and we are very proud to provide eating, drinking, and lodgings for visiting guests and travellers. If you stay with us, theres always a friendly face to behold, a conversation to join or a quiet corner to relax in.

The Family Room has been recently refurbished with an en-suite shower room and it sleeps three people with a Super-King or Twin bed plus a Single bed.

Double Room: A small room with a standard double bed and sink. This room has use of a private shower room just across the hallway.

Small Single Room: A small room with a standard double bed and a sink, perfect for the single traveller. Private external bathroom across the hallway.

All of our rooms are located above the bar so unfortunately we cant guarantee total silence until after our closing time of 12.30am. The New Inn is a historic public house situated in the village of Aberchirder in the North East of Scotland.

All rooms offer a private bathroom or en-suite facilities, free WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities. For your comfort you will find bath robes, toiletries and a hairdryer.

There is a public bar and dining room both with log burning stoves. You can play billiards and darts. Board games are also available for guest use.

Guests can enjoy traditional pub food, real ale and local whiskies. The New Inns pub is CAMRA-certified and offers a selection of 5 cask ales.

Visiting whisky distilleries, exploring the Aberdeenshire Castle Trail and fishing on The Deveron are all activities guests can enjoy.

Huntly Castle is 20 km from The New Inn while Duff House on the coast is 15km away. The nearest airport is Aberdeen Airport, 47 km from The New Inn. Please inform The New Inn in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Please note, the guest rooms are located above the public bar, silence cannot be guaranteed until after the closing time of 00:30.

The public bar is dog friendly, respectively of other patrons and guests.

The bar is open on Mondays from 17:00. Children are welcome in the public bar up until 21:00.

Strictly no smoking in the entire property.

Please note, the propertys restaurant is only open until 18:30 on Thursdays between September and April.
