Transfer from Ayton Castle Airstrip to Post Office House B&B

Post Office House Bed and Breakfast was built in 1893 and still retains original Victorian features. The accommodation is located in Belford and offers three en-suite rooms. Complimentary WiFi, free street parking.

All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine and a full hospitality tray. All rooms are fitted with an en-suite shower room but no bathtubs. Extras include bathrobes and free toiletries. There is one ground floor room which is suitable for guests with walking difficulties but not accessible for wheelchairs.

Breakfast is served in the dining room featuring a wood stove, which is lit in the colder seasons. Local produce is used in the breakfasts and includes a Full Northumbrian, homemade porridge and smoked fish options including kippers. Marmalade and jams are homemade. Vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan diets are also catered for, by prior arrangement.

Breakfast is by pre-order the night before so they are freshly cooked-to-order at your chosen time. We will discuss and ask you to choose breakfast times on arrival, times are between 8 am and 9.30 am. Requests for an earlier breakfast are not accepted without prior permission.

Please note, the property caters to vegetarian, gluten-free and vegan diets. Guests should inform the property of any dietary requirements prior to arrival. We provide a separate bespoke Vegan menu and this is extra at 5 per room, per day. We require prior notice for all special dietary requirements. Please note, the property uses nut and wheat products in the dining areas and care is taken to avoid contamination with nuts, seeds and gluten. The property cannot guarantee there will be no cross contamination with gluten products.
