Transfer from Berrier Airstrip to Stable Barn

Stable Barn is a barn conversion with a garden, set in Mungrisdale, 9 miles from Keswick. Guests benefit from patio and a barbecue. Free WiFi is offered and free private parking is available on site.

There are multiple seating areas and a kitchen as well as two private bathrooms. A flat-screen TV, as well as an iPod docking station are provided. Other facilities at Stable Barn include a terrace. Guests can enjoy views of the Northern Fells in the Lake District from the property.

Bike hire is available locally and the area is popular for hiking around the fells. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including cycling, fishing, horse riding, golfing and sailing. Please note dogs can be accommodated by prior arrangement at a cost of GBP 20 for up to a week, payable in cash on arrival.

Continue 8 miles towards Keswick when you pass the turnoff to Troutbeck (A5091) Continue for approximately 1 mile and take the next right hand turn signposted Mungrisdale and Caldbeck Continue for approximately 1 mile to the sign for Near Howe is on the right hand side of the road The drive way crosses two fields, and then rises past an old ruin up to the top of the hill where you will find the property
