Hotel Royals interiors feature a mixture of traditional Alpine style with heavy use of light wood and modern design furniture. The elegant restaurant is open in winter and serves a buffet breakfast.
All of the rooms at Royal are very spacious. They feature large panoramic windows, hardwood floors and a seating area. A flat-screen TV with cable channels, a safe and a minibar are provided.
The state-of-the-art spa features a chalet theme and includes a sauna, 2 steam baths and a Kneipp fountain. A room for relaxation and a sun bed are available. Massage & beauty treatments can be booked by guests against an extra charge.
Aletsch Glacier Ski Area can be reached on skis directly from the hotel. The closest cable car is 400 metres away, and Riedelalp Golf Course is only 100 metres away. Riederalp is a car-free village at 2,000 metres above sea level. The hotel can be reached via cable car from Mrel, 16 km away. Swimming pool is closed from Sun 17 Mar 2019 until Fri 20 Dec 2019 Please note that the hotel is an adult only hotel. Children over 12 years of age are accepted in the rooms, but not in the public areas.
Please note that Riederalp is a car-free village. You can park your car in Mrel and reach Riederalp by cable car.
