Located in a quiet, but central area in Grindelwald, 350 metres from the Firstbahn and Mnnlichenbahn Cable Cars, Lehmanns Herberge Hostel offers accommodation in a traditional Swiss chalet, with free WiFi and free ski storage. It also features panoramic views of the local mountains.
The rooms at the Herberge come with either shared or private bathroom facilities. A shared living area and a daily breakfast buffet featuring local products are available to all guests.
Grindelwald Train Station can be found within 350 metres and a sport centre is a 2-minute walk away. Interlaken can be reached within 20 km.
A limited number of private parking spaces is available on site free of charge. Public parking is available for an additional fee nearby. Please inform Lehmanns Herberge Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), additional safety and sanitation measures are in effect at this property. Please note that only a limited number of private parking spaces is available (reservations are not possible). Public parking is possible in the surroundings at an additional cost.
Please note that the access road is very steep and narrow (as seen on the photo). Snow chains are necessary in winter.
Please also note that in July and August, the road leading up to the hotel is closed between 20:00 and 24:00 on Wednesdays.
