Akasha Mountain Retreat consists of a Cape-Maroc style private villa with 3 bedrooms, and 1 separate suite located 20 meters from the main house. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge and dining with fireplace and a patio, terrace and BBQ facilities.
At Akasha, guests have exclusive use of the private villa, as well as the 120-hectare property on which is it located. Relax in a hammock or explore the vast grounds boasting fynbos and forest kloof, with a guide or alone after receiving a complimentary orientation drive. The retreat offers panoramic views of flora, fauna and bird life.
The Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve is 25 km away and the Breede River, which meets the Indian Ocean is a 50-minute drive away.
The hosts live nearby, and can arrange meals or grocery deliveries. Please inform Akasha Mountain Retreat in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Please note that there is a 10 km dirt road leading up to the property and a 4x4 vehicle is recommended, especially during wet weather.
