Ambleside features a separate guest entry, with a lounge, sun-room and dining room which overlook the lake and offer spectacular views. With separate host accommodation (on-site), guests are free to relax in the house with their friends or partner and enjoy a sherry or port, or a champers on the verandah. A small sweets & snacks menu, with a limited wine list, is available. All rooms feature tea/coffee making facilities, queen size beds and reverse cycle air conditioning for year-round comfort. Our two deluxe rooms now feature TV/DVD players and sofas. (BYO DVD's). One deluxe room features Lake views and a private veranda, whilst the second deluxe room features twin-share facilities (with a QB & SB) as well as a lovely gas-flame log fire. The third room is a standard room and is priced slightly cheaper. All rooms also feature iPod docking clock radios. For everyone's comfort, all rooms are strictly non-smoking. Located in central Victoria, 75 minutes from Melbourne, Daylesford is easy driving distance from the Melbourne CBD. Tea rooms open by appointment serving traditional afternoon teas, as well as sweets and snacks. Bookings necessary.
