Transfer from Royal Marines Base Chivenor to The Pines At Eastleigh

The Pines main house is a stunning 17th Century farmhouse with little Victorian additions. Chris & Carol the present owners have updated the feel inside with the addition of modern facilities in all the bedrooms and sympathetic decor throughout. Guests are given a truly English welcome and invited to share the lovely gardens and walk in the surrounding fields right up to the top of our hill for beautiful 360 degree views including Hartland point and Lundy Island. The beds are all new and chosen for comfort, the breakfast boasts local produce, home cooking and yogurt, with fruit compote from the garden. We cater for all tastes and preferences. The showers are power and hot within seconds ! We strive to concentrate on making the bed breakfast and whole experience as good as it ever could be with little extra touches. Guests are welcome to a complimentary glass of wine and cheese platter in the evenings whilst relaxing in the lounge. Chris was born and brought up in North Devon and is very happy to give guests . advice on the best places to visit and the best way to get there. We will do our very best to make sure that your stay with us is as good as we can make it. Set in 7 hilltop acres with views over open countryside, The Pines at Eastleigh is an award-winning Georgian country house bed and breakfast. Guests can enjoy log fires, king-size beds, and freshly prepared food.

Breakfast is served in the drawing room with its log fire and beautiful view from Hartland Point to Lundy Island. Food is freshly prepared using home-produced and locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast includes fruit from the garden and prize-winning local meats.

Rooms are both in the main house and at ground floor level around the peaceful courtyard garden. They all have an en suite bathroom and tea/coffee making facilities.

The ancient port of Bideford, the fishing village of Appledore, and the sweeping beach at Westward Ho are all a 10-minute drive away from The Pines.

Guests can relax in the garden room bar, which features its own library with a variety of maps. Free Wi-Fi is available in the entire property.

Staff can help guests organise cycling on the Tarka Trail, cliff walking, surfing, canoeing and other water sports. Friendly advice can also be given on where to eat and drink in the area.
