Fantastic staff who couldn t do more to help All staff spoke perfect English which was very impressive and useful given the standard of our Italian Lovely room with all the mod cons and very tasteful modern decore Totally spotless in terms of cleanliness and beautifully decorated for Christmas Lovely bar Great selection of food at breakfast

A slight hike from the centre of the city but very easy for central station and as long as you are happy to use metro tram you can get into the centre very quickly

Friendly stuff good position very clean comfortable bed and pillows

The breakfast it s ok but it could be better You can hear a little too much of what s going on in the next rooms

The staff was very gentle and helpful Location is very nice metro city centre restaurants and supermarkets are all in a walk distance Breakfast are varied and very tasty

We booked double room which was announced as 25 m but th room was very small not 25 m

Great location within walking distance to Stazione Centrale Spacious luxurious room Huge bathroom and a separate sauna room which was a bonus which we didn t have time to use though This was also the con the ceiling had molds good thing we didn t care to use the sauna and it was not connected to the bathroom All in all I d say LaGare is affordable luxury We had a very relaxing overnight stay Would stay there again

Area carpet in bedroom could take a more thorough vacuuming See comments above regarding sauna room One of 2 bathrobes we had didn t seem fresh

We liked the stuff reception guys they was really kind friendly and probably the best we ever had before we really feel like at home also cleanliness was perfect they cleaned our room every day and it was perfect clean The location is very good not far away from the center also hotel is in the quiet area

When you sleep in the room you can hear everything you can hear people 2 3 rooms away from you upstairs downstairs the walls are like papers so thin hard to believe for the 4 star hotel so be ready to wake up early in the morning The guy on reception who was working on 07 12 2016 in the afternoon one day before we left told us that the taxi to the airport is around 30 euro s and it could be little bit more or less because of the traffic but he said there is nothing to worry about that we should trust the taxi driver because hotel will call the taxi on the end they was no traffic and we payed 42 euro s so the taxi driver charge us much more normally 30 euro s

They increase the rate during weekend which I didnt know about it

lovely hotel and the rooftop pool an added bonus breakfast here is nice Our bedroom on the 7th floor was excellent with a terrace and a spectacular city view and table and chairs on the terrace to relax Minibar provided and bathroom lovely the bed very comfortable there is a nespresso machine also A short walk to the main square and La Rambla make sure you call in the Estudente bar in University square for the best gin and tonics
