No small water bottle was provided by the hotel as service

We stayed in the Thistle Marble Arch on numerous occasions in the past BUT the standard dropped considerately and we stayed in many other hotels in the area We went back to the AMBA new name to check if there was any improvement We were pleasantly surprised the staff was wonderful the ambience was friendly and attractive and the restaurants and coffeeshops of a high standard The rooms were delightful big and airy and with a nice technological touch And naturally the AMBA is situated in the most perfect part of London

the room was depressing 2 singles pushed together to make a double view of brick walls the smell of cooking fat reeking through from the kitchens outside average staff had to pay extra for breakfast design of room was terrible wifi did not work haggard carpets in the hotel really cheap feel to the place door room numbers printed off paper and sellotape to doors its a 1 star hotel than somehow has 4

Calm

Rooms had great makeover Pool great for kids Staff very friendly Late checkout 12pm I asked to be away from lifts we were given a great room

Only thing I missed was a flannel in the bathroom a bath in family room instead of shower but I didn t ask so maybe they had one

Breakfast could of been alot better not worth the money for breakfast

Rooms bar overall hotel very new modern and good condition

Pool was shut for refurb but weather was rubbish anyway
