It is also within walking distance from a bakery, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy and shops. Guests enjoy mountain views from the balcony, which has a BBQ.

Just 1 km from Squatters Run 1 is the Thredbo Leisure Centre/AIS facility which offers an indoor pool and tennis court. Also available in the warmer months is the 9-hole Thredbo Alpine Golf Course, just 600 metres from the property. Canberra Airport is a 2.5 hour drive away. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of AUD 1000 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card.
