Kings Grant Country Retreat

Located on the historical Saint Isidor Estate and surrounded by hills and farmland, Kings Grant Country Retreat offers a museum and a chapel. The property is 5 km outside of Ixopo.

The individually decorated suites and studios previously belonged to the monks and nuns on the estate. All rooms are equipped with a patio, a satellite TV, a fan and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Some of the rooms have garden views and a Victorian bath.

Breakfast is provided in the morning. Kings Grant Country Retreat also has a restaurant surrounded by gardens offering fine dining and a good selection of wines. Packed lunches are available on request for fee. Some of the rooms have kitchenette with microwave and a small fridge.

Kings Grant Country Retreat has a quaint chapel for intimate weddings and conference facilities for up to 60 delegates. The estate has a maize mill museum and garden.

An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling, canoeing and fishing. The Ixopo Golf Club is a 10 minute drive from Kings Grant Country Retreat
