Greenstone Retreat

Greenstone Retreat is a historic, environmentally friendly, spacious villa set amongst organic gardens with a couple of family rooms, a renovated Caravan called Lolly, modern shared bathrooms, lounge, kitchens and a camp ground at the back. Free WiFi is available throughout the property as well as free parking.

Surrounding attractions include the Wilderness Cycle Trail, walking and mountain biking tracks. You can enjoy local star gazing. The Theatre Royal Hotel is within walking distance. Kumara Village, as well as a range of rivers, lakes and beaches are all within 10 minutes drive. The property is a 20-minute drive from Hokitika and Greymouth, and 1-hour drive from Punakaiki pancake rocks.

The main property has no TV, but a range of games, books and magazines encouraging guests to socialise and relax. A fully equipped self catering kitchen, large dining table and open plan connecting lounge makes this a great space to share with friends and family. There is a wood burning fire, heaters and beanbags. Towels and linen are included for the villa.

Those staying in the dormitory rooms have access to an outdoor, covered kitchen with barbecue facilities and all cooking utensils. The beds are made up, however towels are available to hire for an additional charge of $2.

Continental breakfast may be available upon request, with prior notice to the property and at an additional charge. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.

Free tea and coffee along with oil, herbs and spices, salt and pepper are provided in the villa. Please inform Greenstone Retreat in advance of your expected arrival time.
