Breakfast disappointing and poor value

Bed was very comfy Very clean room Great shower Position is great walking distance to the Louvre Place Vendome Place de la Madelaine Champs Elysee built in USB charging station

No power outlets next to the bed on Friday night there might be some noise if you want to sleep with your window open but if you close it and turn on the AC it s all good very good isolation

Location was great It s little bit far from main tour zone but there are many great restaurant and markets around hotel Staffs was almost perfect They even help us to reserve restaurant Facilities Also great Everything was in the house And I was surprised by Home networking that I can manage home facilities such as lights or speakers by iPad View View was nice to me There s big apartment across rover but it s far enough

Cleaning was not perfect I would say 8 out of 10 They don t know what is needed to be cleaned up They didn t throw trash away that I put on the table It was literally trash But I think they were afraid of throwing away since it might be important to us But still I think it would be better to have guideline how and what is needed to be cleaned up And Last one Toilet Its floor was inclined opposite to where drainage hole is So floor was wet when I finish shower Worse was because of it I think there was little bit smell like pee Staff helped to get rod of it immediately but it happened

Wonderful staff very courteous and attentive We missed breakfast on the first morning and the staff brought us coffee croissants in the lounge Hotel only 2 min walk from Gare de Lyon which is only a 15 min train journey from Gare de Nord very handy when travelling by Eurostar to Paris Although located in a busy area the hotel is very quiet and no street noise hence we slept late on the first morning Our room was at the rear of the hotel on 4th floor hotel lift was really fast too Our room had recently been renovated to a very high standard and was beautiful Huge bed with luxurious pristine bed linen new bathroom with fabulous new modern shower Although renovated they have kept many original architectural features of the hotel and enhanced its overall appearance and it is a stunning mix of old new We highly recommend a nearby restaurant called A la biche au Bois A small friendly welcoming restaurant with a wonderful vibe food is fresh home cooked Coq au Vin is a house specialty Frequented mainly by Parisiens so you know it s good We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others I don t usually do reviews so this is an honest review of a hotel which delivered more than we expected
