Villa Mertala

Situated on Lake Karanka, this log-cabin cottage is 20 minutes drive from Karstula village centre. It provides free use of a row boat, as well as a BBQ hut and private terrace. A lakeside sauna can be rented from the property.

The 3-bedroom Villa Mertala provides a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. The cottage also has 2 bathrooms, a washing machine and drying room for clothing. The living room has a flat-screen TV and fireplace.

Guests can enjoy on-site snowmobile rental and fishing licenses available for purchase. Other activities include swimming, hiking and cross-country skiing.

A variety of restaurants and stores are found in Saarijrvi, 30 minutes drive away, while the smaller town of Karstula is 15 km from the cottage. Please inform Villa Mertala in advance of your expected arrival time.
