Stora Sandfell Rooms And Cottages

This family-owned, eastern Iceland property is located on Route 95, about 17 km from the town of Egilsstadir. It offers cottage and guest room accommodation with views of Sandfell Mountain.

Stora Sandfells rooms have tea/coffee facilities, a private bathroom and access to a shared kitchen. The cottages have a kitchenette and BBQ, while the bathroom facilities are either private or shared.

The surrounding forest provides a nice setting for horseback riding. Stora Sandfell staff can also help arrange hiking tours in the Hjlpleysa Valley.

Free private parking is possible at the property for guests who arrive by car. If you expect to arrive after 22:00, please inform Stora Sandfell Rooms and Cottages in advance.

Although all rates are quoted in EUR, please note that charges will be made in ISK according to the exchange rate on the day that the charge is made.
