This fully renovated and restored, historic 1912 house is nestled next to the stunning Blue Mountains World Heritage National Park, with walking tracks to the Valley of the Waters and to Leura adjoining the garden.

When staying at Poets Cottage - Fireplace, Close to Treks you can take a 3-minute drive to the famous Wentworth Falls waterfall followed by a visit to the historic Wentworth Falls Village and shops. Leura Village, with its cafes, restaurants and boutique shopping is just a 5-minute drive away, while Katoomba is an 8-minute drive away. After a 12-minute drive you will arrive at Echo Point lookout in Katoomba.

Poets Cottage - Fireplace, Close to Treks offers an open-plan lounge/dining area and a modern kitchen with a microwave, large refrigerator, dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine. Guests will notice the original polished Baltic pine floorboards as they walk to the main bathroom for a luxury spa bath or shower. There is ducted heating throughout the cottage. For your convenience there is an in-house laundry with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage also has a freestanding Regency fireplace (gas).

Poets Cottage - Fireplace, Close to Treks is a 20-minute walk from Wentworth Falls train station, which has frequent trains from Sydneys central station. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. A damage deposit of AUD 450 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that the house features two steps at the front of the property and therefore may be unsuitable for those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues. Managed by a private host
