Monte de Portugal

The suites and apartments of Monte de Portugal are located on a large country house near the Montargil Dam. The property has an outdoor pool and offers horse-riding lessons.

The suites and apartments are brightly painted, and decorated with traditional features such as clay floors. Some feature fireplaces and all offer views of the pool. The bathrooms come with free toiletries.

Breakfast is provided daily at the Monte and there is a souvenir shop on the premises. A 24-hour front desk can help organising outdoor activities.

Free bicycles are available for guests use, and there are many cycling and hiking tracks on the property. The dam can be used for fishing, as well as other water activities, and is 8 km away.

Portela Airport and the city of Lisbon are within 120 km from the country house. Please note that access to Monte de Portugal is done through a 5 km long unpaved road with scenic views.
